Different Types of diabetes


The American Diabetes Association has the following classification in 1979. There are two types of diabetes such as gestational diabetes and secondary diabetes known. There is also a special type of diabetes mellitus in India called malnutrition.

This is the most serious form of diabetes. It develops when the pancreas produces little or no insulin. There is no insulin in the bloodstream do not get sugar into the cells, and remains in the blood. People with type 1 diabetes depend on regular insulin produced to lower metabolism.


This type of diabetes onset diabetes called maturity. It rarely occurs before age 40, even if they occur at any time. Contaminate the incidence of type 2 diabetes in adolescents increased. But because the symptoms are milk, not noticing, and the condition goes undetected for a long time, and only years later.

A common factor in type 1 and type 2 diabetes have elevated blood sugar. Unlike type 1 diabetes, type-2 is not a disease of the immune system. Although people with type 1 diabetes must inject insulin to live, most people with type 2 diabetes can control the disease and even reversed. This is possible through a combination of proper nutrition, weight control and exercise.
