Basic Information and Knowledge about Breast Cancer

It is a fact that every day grow the cells divide and die in your body. Most of the time they are in an orderly manner. But sometimes grow out of control.

Even though the new tumor develops in the rest of the body, which is still called breast cancer. The most common sites of metastatic breast cancer are the lymph nodes, liver, brain, bone and lung.

There are genes that control how our cells divide and grow. When these genes are not as they should, a genetic errors or mutations occurred work.
Mutations can be inherited or spontaneous. inherited mutations are those that are born with - an abnormal gene, that their parents have been sent to you at birth. inherited mutations in certain genes, such as cancer to BRCA2 genes increase CRIA, a woman's risk of developing breast.

Spontaneous mutations can occur in your body for life. The actual cause or causes remain unknown mutations. The researchers identified genes from two species that are important for cell growth. The failure of these genes turn normal cells cancerous cells.

You should be aware that the cells get out of control before any symptoms of the disease to grow. Therefore, examination of the breasts to detect any change is very important beginning. The sooner a problem is detected, the better the chance of survival.

Experts recommend that women over 40 have a mammogram every two years. If you have a history of breast cancer in the family, talk to your doctor about risk assessment, where at first with mammograms and how often you have it. When your mother or sister had breast before menopause, you can start an annual mammogram and clinical breast exams to before the 40th Year of life. It is important that all women with clinical breast examination by a doctor at least every three years from 20 years and every year after 40 years without self-examination once a month for 20 years.
